NABU Kreisgruppe Wolfenbüttel e.V.

Since 1949 we have been committed to protecting nature and the species native to our area. Three biotopes (a meadow, a former gravel quarry and a meadow orchard, each 3 ha in size) are cared for and maintained by us. An important amphibian occurrence in the district is accompanied by us during the migration and spawning season. In addition, we offer lectures and excursions on natural history topics. In the children and youth group (NAJU) the new generation is introduced to nature conservation.
