Rehkitzrettung Lehre e. V.
We are a young, non-profit association that aims to save young wild animals from serious injury and death by mowers.
In order to achieve this goal we organize, in consultation with local farmers, morning rescue missions around Lehre. Before sunrise and in time for mowing, we tend to find especially fawns that are hiding in the meadows and have no chance to escape the mower.
Our volunteers, aged between 30 and 90, make an invaluable contribution to animal welfare and work as a well-rehearsed team in which every committed animal lover is warmly welcomed.
