Gemeinschaftsunterkunft Pichelswerderstraße - Prisod

The original industrial building was opened as a shared accommodation by Prisod Residential operations GmbH in November 2015 after extensive renovation and conversion work and is inhabited by 550 people. The residents live on a total of 5 floors in apartments with their own kitchen and bathroom. Most of the people living in the shared accommodation are families and accordingly many children live here - about half of the residents are minors.

Our team consisting of social services, child care, administration and volunteer coordination supports the residents in all questions and matters concerning their integration into the local structures. The accommodation offers a variety of opportunities to volunteer: from child or youth care to German or conversation courses, leisure and sports activities, artistic or craft activities - all ideas that enrich the everyday life of the residents, make their new start in the unfamiliar environment easier and create encounters are welcome!
