Hilfe von Mensch zu Mensch e. V.

For 25 years, Hilfe von Mensch zu Mensch has been helping migrants and refugees to take their lives into their own hands. The Munich-based aid organization is primarily dedicated to supporting children, teenagers and young adults who have fallen into social hardship as a result of war and persecution. The motto is always: helping people to help themselves. The association does not want to create dependencies, but to enable refugees and migrants to actively shape their future. Language courses, school-analogue educational measures and the support of small children in crèches are therefore not only aimed at teaching the German language, but also at giving people social support and orientation. The aid organization itself is the best example of how refugees make an important contribution to society. Many former refugees now work for the association and are both confidants and role models for the new arrivals. Around 250 employees from many different countries work together and show what integration can look like in practice.
