Jambo Bukoba
"Make kids strong through sport" - with this motto Jambo Bukoba e.V. stands up for better chances of children in Tanzania in the fields education, health and equal right. Jambo Bukoba is a registered association with head quarters in Munich. The operative realization takes place in Tanzania. Sports serves as a tool in order to inform about HIV, strengthen the girls and reduce prejudices in boys. This holistic approach is based on three pillars: Improvement of quality of education/ scholar infrastructure, health support and HIV prevention and equal rights through social equality. Here in Munich we manage Fundraising, PR & Marketing, Networking, Personal and Accounting - always in close contact with the Tanzanian subsidiary. On-site, project coordination and control as well as networking with public bodies is carried out. Regular video calls and travels enable a steady communication and cooperation. The network consists of about 330 members, renowned businesses and foundations as well as professionals. Currently, we support 482.000 children in Tanzania and want to increase this number to 3 million. Therefore, our aim is to develop Jambo Bukoba e. V.
