Freiwilligen-Initiative "Deutschkurs für Alle"

Our initiative is constantly looking for new volunteer teachers who want to teach German every 1-2 weeks for an evening either digitally or in Neukölln. A regular commitment would be desirable, because of the training in advance. Should you only be able to committ a few times, a minimum of 4x would be great 🙏

👥 For whom is the German course?
We welcome those who have no access to state or expensive private German- course offers due to their residence status or lack of financial resources and are thus excluded from their integration. These are refugees from various countries such as Afghanistan, Eritrea, Gambia or at the moment many people from Ukraine.

⏰ When and where is your help needed?
One course always takes place on Monday and one on Tuesday from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at Fuldastraße 50 in Neukölln. On Wednesdays, we teach online from 7 - 8:30 p.m. on Zoom. We are looking for volunteers for all three days.

📖 How do the classes work?
The teachers all work on a volunteer basis and all dropped in at some point to try it out and stayed. Many of us had no prior teaching experience. The teaching materials as well as whiteboards are available on site. We teach in small groups of 1-5 people and don't follow a curriculum, so you can personalize your lesson.

🦊Interested or have questions?
We are happy to help you get started and give you tips. In addition, there is the possibility of observation in the beginning, so you can learn from other volunteers.
