Märkisches Kinderdorf e.V.

For 32 years we as "Märkisches Kinderdorf e.V." offer children and young people in need a home on time.

We care for up to 45 children and young people in five family-analogous housing groups as well as in the transition and living. The village character of our facility plays an essential role. It offers the girls and boys free space and protection at the same time. On the approximately 14,000 m² grounds with playgrounds and sports fields, they have plenty of room to play, romp and experience.

Youths who cannot return to their family environment receive our support on their way to independence. They can try out transitional living on the grounds of the Kinderdorf (children's village) and then move into our youth residential communities in the city.

In coordination with the Jugendamt (youth welfare offices), we are constantly developing our support services in line with changing needs.
