Deutsche Lebens-Rettungs-Gesellschaft Ortsgruppe Waltrop e.V.

We, the DLRG Ortsgruppe Waltrop e.V. are active since 1956. With a number of about 500 members, we are an important building block of (rescue) swimming education and youth work in the region. In addition to our most important core tasks of swimming training and water rescue service, we are also active in the areas of youth work, disaster prevention and the mediation of dangers in and around the water.

Youth and young adults who want to get involved in swimming training or water rescue service. However, we also have many fields of activity beyond that for every age group so feel free to just contact us :)

We are mainly financed by membership fees and donations.

Objectives

The primary task of the DLRG is the creation and promotion of all facilities and measures that serve to combat drowning (promotion of rescue from danger to life).
