Give Something Back to Berlin empowers new and established Berliners through volunteering, education, and a network of support. Led by its mixed community of migrants and locals, GSBTB's programming promotes social cohesion by engaging people from different backgrounds in co-creation and learning while fostering a sense of belonging. As an award-winning urban integration platform, GSBTB collaborates both with migrant and host communities to address racism, xenophobia, and discrimination and to lift each other up for a more democratic and inclusive society. Going beyond the present integration models, GSBTB facilitates newcomers to unleash their full potential and accelerates their participation in the community, positively changing Berlin's cultural and social life.
