IRGW

The IRGW (Israelitische Religionsgemeinschaft Württembergs) K.d.ö.R. is the Jewish community in Württemberg. The IRGW currently has approx. 2900 community members. The members live all over Württemberg. The IRGW administration is based in Stuttgart. There is a large community center and a synagogue, a Jewish elementary school, a kindergarten, an assisted living facility for the elderly, a religious school and much more. There are numerous offers for members of the community in the areas of religion, education, social care and culture. The IRGW works closely with the ZWST. Branches are maintained in various towns in Württemberg so that members of the congregation who live away from home can meet up and take advantage of offers.
