The focus of its work is on dealing with the history of National Socialism in order to strengthen democracy. The association offers many educational programs for young people and adults.

Weilburg erinnert e.V. is committed to an active culture of remembrance and commemoration in memory of those people who were victims of the Nazi regime in Weilburg and the surrounding area. Weilburg erinnert e.V. is also committed to promoting the memory of courageous people who showed courage and resistance during the Third Reich. Weilburg erinnert e.V. wants to work to prevent racism, anti-Semitism and anti-Judaism from gaining ground in Weilburg and the Oberlahn region. Our area of responsibility covers the entire Oberlahn region.
