Passing on experience effectively

Around 180 volunteers are involved in Arche Kinderbegleitung at four locations in the city of Zurich, making them important caregivers for the children. They pass on their knowledge and life experience - and often also a piece of their heart.

Strengthening self-confidence and school skills

When children and young people find everyday school life difficult, they need support. At Arche Kinderbegleitung, the child or young person meets with their personal mentor once a week. They practise German, do homework and have conversations without any pressure to perform. This support with language and homework strengthens their self-confidence. Children and young people feel more confident in everyday school life.
