We provide financial support and advice to mothers of babies or small children with cancer and pregnant women with cancer throughout Germany. We do most of our work on a voluntary basis.

Objectives
The diagnosis of cancer is a shock for the affected person at any age, with far-reaching consequences, not just therapeutic ones.
Unfortunately, it not only affects the person affected, but usually also the entire family. Cancer at the age of 20, 30 or 40 has a very special impact, as the entire life plan is suddenly turned completely upside down. Many questions arise to which there initially seem to be no answers. Plans for the future, such as education, job, career and desire to have children, have to be completely reorganized and, in case of doubt, even put on hold for the time being.
The question that concerns many women at a younger age is how to continue providing for the family, especially the children.
The period of therapy and convalescence requires a great deal of mental and physical strength. They often lack the resources they need to do justice to their children and themselves.
We know from our own experience how important help is during this difficult time! Help is as varied and individual as the illnesses themselves. Every woman takes her own unique path to rehabilitation... This is where Pro Mater Sano e.V. wants to come in and offer the individual support that young mothers with cancer or pregnant women with cancer need for themselves and their families and unfortunately often cannot get.
Pro Mater Sano e.V. provides individual financial help and support, e.g. in dealing with applications. The funding options for young mothers with babies or small children suffering from cancer are as varied and individual as the diseases themselves.
