Under the motto "The earth needs friends", the Frankfurt district association of BUND has been actively and successfully campaigning for the protection of local nature and the sensitization of Frankfurt's citizens to their (urban) environment with a wide range of nature and environmental protection projects since 1979.

Target group(s)

As a sub-organization of BUND Landesverband Hessen e.V. and supported by over 2,650 members, BUND Kreisverband Frankfurt focuses on nature conservation, urban and landscape planning and water across all districts. On the other hand, it carries out active, exclusively voluntary nature conservation work in the urban areas with the help of its four local associations and nature conservation groups.
