The SchutzengelWerk aims to help children at risk of poverty to escape the spiral of poverty and lead a successful, self-determined life. We do this by giving children affected by poverty free tutoring, providing them with healthy food and organizing meaningful leisure activities.

Target group(s)
In our projects, we care for children, teenagers and young adults aged 6-24. All of the children we look after come from economically and socially disadvantaged families. They have little access to education, healthy food and social and cultural activities.

Funding
Our organization is financed 100% by private donations. For bigger projects, we sometimes receive funding from major foundations. We do not receive any state support.
Objectives
Our aim is to help as many children as possible to escape their parents' spiral of poverty. With the help of our services, children affected by poverty should be able to lead self-determined, successful and healthy lives and no longer be dependent on help.
