Precious Plastic Berlin carries out plastic recycling on a voluntary basis in its own workshop using various machines. It also serves as a network for the various recycling players in Berlin and the surrounding area.

Funding
To date, Precious Plastic Berlin has been financed primarily from private assets. In future, funding will come from donations, grants, membership fees, workshops and/or sales.
Objectives
We make our contribution to sustainability by turning 'old' plastic back into usable objects. Through workshops and other events, we draw attention to the problems of our throwaway society and through our network we try to promote the development of collaborations and the establishment of new recycling workspaces.
Your support helps
There is always something to do and everyone can help. There is regularly something to do on site in our workshop in particular. In day-to-day operations, this would include tasks such as sorting, shredding and melting plastic using various machines.
For educational work and events, helpers would also be welcome to run workshops with the machines we provide.
But there is also always a lot to do in terms of organization, where you can also get involved remotely. This includes, for example, maintaining social media channels, acquiring funding, organizing events and much more.
