Funding
The association's activities are financed by annual contributions and project-related grants from the participating towns, municipalities and districts. The Federal Agency for Nature Conservation and the Bavarian Nature Conservation Fund also provide considerable funding for land acquisition and measures. The Bavarian Ministry of the Environment supports the annual tasks of the Heidehaus Environmental Station.
Objectives
The aims are to safeguard and develop the characteristic heathland and to expand the biotope network in the north of Munich.
