The AWO Region Gießen has been a social service provider with strong roots in the communities for many years. We are a non-profit organization and are committed to helping senior citizens, children, the homeless and people suffering from addiction and supporting them in different phases of life and living environments.
In line with our vision: "We create living spaces with heart and respect", we try to realize social projects.

It is financed by its own funds, grants and subsidies as well as service fees. The AWO's independence is guaranteed by its own funds from membership fees, donations, sponsorship contributions and the voluntary work of the many volunteers.
Objectives
The values of the AWO - tolerance, justice, solidarity - are the basis of our actions. It is important to us to combine voluntary work with the professional services we offer. The wishes and needs of those we care for are very important to us!
