DEGIS (the German Association for International Students and Talent) works every day to build the largest community for internationals in Germany. We are a nationwide platform, offering trustworthy information, networking spaces, volunteer experiences, and local teams that aim to provide peer-to-peer support and connection to newcomers. Our mission is to support every international in Germany to achieve their dreams and goals.

We count on sponsorship by our "sister company", Lumeira Group GmbH (a platform of services for internationals in Germany). We share the same founders and a similar mission, so they offer us not only coverage of basic operational costs but also working infrastructure (equipment and office).
We also get commissioned by Universities and other organizations to conduct research on international talent integration into German society, an activity promoted by our recently founded Policy Lab.

Objectives
- Establish local teams of volunteers in every city with a University in Germany, ensuring internationals there get the support and connections they need.
- Advocate for internationals rights to study, work, access their rights, and belong to German society through institutional campaigns, partnerships, and research.
