Zeit für Zukunft - Mentoren für Kinder e.V. arranges voluntary mentorships for children and young people between the ages of six and 16 in Hamburg who find themselves in difficult life situations (e.g. family migration background, loss of a parent, numerous siblings, unemployment of parents, etc.). In the joint meetings, the mentors give their time and undivided attention. They listen and encourage. In this way, the children's self-confidence is strengthened. The one-to-one relationships help the children to develop their potential. The child and mentor meet two to four times a month - for at least a year, with the option to extend.
