The gateway to the ANDEREWELT. opens every year for a 4-day sphere in which people meet to reflect and experience. Through art, culture and music, we bring people together to expand our view of ourselves and the world from a state of connectedness and to open up new horizons. Cultural exchange is the engine of our society on the way to a better and more liveable future. With creativity, openness and a strong sense of togetherness, we show that the pursuit of utopia is worthwhile.

Objectives
The ANDEREWELT. is a paradox; actually too good to be true. It is a place that is not so easy to find, hidden and yet so visible. A half-island in the north of Hessen. The view changes as soon as you cross the bridge. We enter a noticeably different world. Completely surrounded by ancient, lush green trees, so dense that you lose your bearings. And yet, there is this dull feeling of arriving. The sound of fresh air trickles through the leaves and provides us with oxygen. After a short walk, characterized by ever-increasing excitement about what awaits us at the end of the forest, we finally arrive. We reach the clearing and only now does the complete beauty of the island come into our field of vision.
The idea was born in summer 2020 during the filming of a movie, where the actors and the entire team spent two months on the half-island. The non-profit association "Kultur am Kragenhof e.V." has been in existence since 2021 and was founded by the stranded film crew, from a wide variety of backgrounds, as well as the owners of Gut Kragenhof to create a central contact point for culture enthusiasts. The journey began with the first festival edition in 2021.
