DER SACHE WEGEN

DER SACHE WEGEN is a solidarity-based, unpackaged store in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg that combines ecological consumption with social commitment. We offer fair, packaging-free food and activate our neighborhood for a grandchild-friendly economy. The management works on a voluntary basis, the collective is privately owned and there are no dividends to owners.

Funding

Our organization is completely self-financed - partly even through private loans from committed customers. In addition, a growing community supports us through a solidarity membership model, which enables us to operate on an ongoing basis. Unfortunately, the tax office has rejected an application for non-profit status.

Objectives

Our aim is to establish a fair, ecological and solidarity-based supply system in the food retail sector - beyond the logic of profit and packaging waste. We promote regional value creation, strengthen social participation and make sustainable consumption accessible to everyone. Through educational offers and participatory formats, we activate our neighborhood and create spaces for community learning, engagement and empowerment.

Your support helps

Your support helps to keep our solidarity-based unpackaged store alive - whether it's preparing events, sorting and returning deposits or creatively promoting our store in the neighborhood.
