Stiftung gegen Rassismus
The aim of the Stiftung für die Internationalen Wochen gegen Rassismus (in short: Foundation against Racism) is to overcome racist discrimination in Germany. It plans and coordinates the annual nationwide UN Weeks against Racism. The purpose of the foundation includes the production of information material and the implementation of model projects.

The focus is on raising awareness in mainstream society, especially among young people, and strengthening local civil society initiatives such as schools, clubs, religious communities, associations, migrant self-organizations and other social actors.

Funding
The Foundation against Racism is financed by public, civil society and commercial donations as well as private donations.
Objectives
The foundation aims to encourage and implement social learning processes that can help to overcome racism and violence against people with a migration background. The promotion of contacts between people with and without experiences of racism is essential for the reduction of negative attitudes and racist thinking. To this end, it focuses on the personal commitment of all citizens who stand up for a humane society and raise their voices.
