Nahrungswald e.V.
We are committed to the distribution of food forest systems, especially in the area of food production in German-speaking countries. The association builds on the work of Ramos Strzygowski's forest garden project, which has been promoting the spread of this innovative form of land use since 2019 and has initiated and implemented the www.waldgartenkongress.de, the www.waldgartenpilot.de and the www.waldgartenkonzept.de so far.
About Nahrungswald e.V.
Target group(s)
We support sustainable land management that is suitable for our grandchildren, our enviroment and climate change - so that our children and grandchildren can also experience diverse agriculture, animals and insects in the countryside and healthy food (also in the cities).
That's why we are addressing farmers and conservationists, CSA, politicians and administrative staff, scientists, teachers and students - and also journalists, multipliers, sponsors and supporters.

Objectives
We are working for a form of land management with food forest systems (Forest Garden, FoodForests, species-rich agroforestry) that is suitable for our grandchildren and future climate change - so that our children and grandchildren can also experience diverse agriculture, animals and insects in the countryside and healthy food (also in the cities).
It has been known for decades that food forest systems are ecologically excellent and that we can produce good food with little work by these farming methods. We are committed to deepening the (broad) knowledge necessary for the development and operation of these ecosystems, networking the players, reducing the hurdles to implementation and distributing this knowledge.
To this end, we organize the Forest Garden Congress (www.waldgartenkongress.de), develop and publish specialist literature, network, e.g. at the monthly forest garden get-together - and specifically support the development of lighthouse projects in German-speaking countries that show that and how a food forest system works ecologically, economically and socially.

Your support helps
the transformation of agriculture in times of multi-crisis, so that insects and birds, trees, flowers and bushes can reappear in agriculture and that our children and grandchildren can still produce and enjoy healthy food in an intact landscape.
