CSD Bochum
The motto of this year's CSD Bochum is "Beyond our courage - together on the barricades!".
As always, we want to organize a political demonstration. The threat situation for queer and trans people (and for CSDs) is becoming more and more serious, and at the same time we want and need to find ways and words to respond to the manifold crises of our present. Rights that have been fought for are being curtailed, queer hate violence is on the rise, the rule of law and basic human rights are being eroded.
We must stand in the way of all this and defend each other, together on the barricades. At the same time, it is becoming increasingly dangerous to simply take to the streets and be visibly queer. It takes courage - and sometimes more courage than we can muster individually.
