Save me-Kampagne Köln

The Save me Campaign Cologne strives for a society in which refugees and those who have grown up here can live together peacefully and amicably and overcome challenges together. However, as the world is moving ever closer together, it cannot just be about living together in Germany; the global responsibility of the Western world must also be recognized. At a time when more and more people around the world are fleeing their homes, it cannot be about isolation and exclusion, as the EU, for example, continues to do, accepting thousands of deaths in the process. Living in solidarity also means standing up for fellow human beings who are not (yet) in the immediate vicinity. That is why the Save me campaign in Cologne not only maintains the Buddy Program to strengthen the local culture of welcome, but also advocates for more comprehensive European participation in the UNHCR resettlement program and strives to educate people about current German and European refugee policy.

Based on the conviction that all people are born with the same rights, we are against all forms of discrimination, racism, sexism, homophobia and xenophobia and for a Europe that consistently stands by its values. By supporting our campaign, you are speaking out in favour of egalitarian, just policies that are no longer willing to accept dying at Europe's borders and are committed to fair starting conditions in Germany
