Bergedorf-Bille-Stiftung zur sozialen Integration von Menschen
The Bergedorf-Bille Foundation pursues exclusively non-profit, charitable purposes. The foundation is active in the neighborhoods in which its founder, the Gemeinnützige Baugenossenschaft Bergedorf-Bille eG, has a housing stock. The foundation promotes neighborly activities in the 17 meeting places in the neighborhoods. It is supported in this by numerous volunteers.
In addition, the foundation is active in project funding in the areas of youth welfare, elderly care, international awareness and tolerance in accordance with its statutes. Grants are awarded for the implementation of projects. Non-profit associations and social work organizations as well as child and youth welfare organizations are eligible to apply.
Since 2025, it has been the supporting organization of the Partnerschaft für Demokratie (PfD) Bergedorf and the office of the "Bündnis gegen Einsamkeit Hamburg (BgEH)".
