The Feminist Bookmap
The Feminist Bookmap is a world map showcasing feminist bookstores, libraries, literature and authors. It is a platform encouraging reading and promoting cultural appreciation of intersectional feminist perspectives. We aim to highlight local female, non-binary, LGBTQI+ and BIPoC writers who are often overlooked in the cultural sector.

We are currently not financed at all. Small expenses are covered privately by the founders, apart from that we all work voluntarily.
Objectives
Our mission is to provide a non-Eurocentric, multilingual database, giving readers, travelers, and feminists easy access to intersectional feminist resources. The Feminist Bookmap gives a broad audience access to intersectional perspectives as an alternative to patriarchal narratives.
