Müttersprache e.V.
Müttersprache e.V. is a voluntary association from Mannheim. Its aim is to support migrant and refugee mothers by participating free German lessons with parallel childcare and intercultural exchange. Due to a lack of daycare places and language courses with accompanying child supervision, mothers often do not have the opportunity to take part in a language course - this is something we address.

Objectives
Our vision
Our vision is a society in which women, regardless of their origin, participate in social life with equal rights and self-determination.
By creating awareness in our society for the special situation of refugee and migrant women, especially young mothers, we work towards an open atmosphere in which cultural exchange is commonplace and xenophobia has no place.

Our mission
We give refugee and migrant women access to the German language by offering everyday, low-threshold German lessons with parallel childcare. In doing so, we focus on creating an environment that promotes learning, in which parallel childcare enables the students to concentrate on the lessons and at the same time supports the linguistic and social development of the youngest members of our society.
In addition, we not only promote the language skills of our students, but also pave their way into the job market and strengthen the social participation and openness of volunteers and students through intercultural events.
