EX-IN Rhein-Main e.V. is committed to recovery, participation and destigmatization in the field of mental health. We qualify people with personal experience of crisis and recovery to become recovery counselors who bring their expertise to psychosocial fields of work in a professional manner. Our goal is psychiatry at eye level, characterized by hope, empowerment and mutual learning.

Target group(s)
EX-IN Rhein-Main e.V. is aimed in particular at people with their own experience of crisis and recovery who would like to reflect on their experiences and pass them on as valuable expertise, for example as recovery counselors in the psychosocial field.
In addition, we work with professionals, institutions and organizations in the health and social sector, as well as with relatives and interested parties who want to get involved in topics such as recovery, empowerment, participation and destigmatization of mental crises.
We also welcome people who would like to volunteer for mental health and social education.

As a non-profit association, EX-IN Rhein-Main e.V. is financed by participation fees for educational programs, funding for projects and donations. These funds enable us to carry out our educational and public relations work around recovery, experiential expertise and destigmatization of mental health crises.
