I am the owner of a residential building at Markstrasse 5. The premises on the first floor are owned by the foundation. The apartments on the floors are rented out and I use the surplus rental income as a donation to the foundation. The entire building is still to be transferred to the foundation's assets. I'm still taking my time to think about it. As I live in France myself, I would like to clarify the tax consequences beforehand.

Building a life abroad or even just in a foreign environment is very difficult for women, especially for women who have emigrated. Putting down roots and keeping an eye on one's own future at the same time cannot be accomplished single-handedly. Our foundation supports this development by promoting constructive social relationships and sharing useful information and good practices. In the spirit of community-oriented help for self-help, our "M5" initiative provides space for projects and offers the opportunity to participate in local social and cultural life and exchange.

The Executive Board now consists of only one member. He lives in Berlin.

I myself and the other members of the Board of Trustees live in France (Paris, Caen and Strasbourg).

We currently share the work of the Board, but we are looking to strengthen the Board with a new member.
The members of the Board of Directors ensure that the objectives of the Articles of Association and the legal and tax regulations are adhered to in all matters that are brought to our foundation.

Our two employees are primarily responsible for the user groups and the occupancy of "M5", a space for culture, dialog and education at Markstraße 5 in Berlin-Reinickendorf.

Our aim today is to further develop the Foundation's funding activities from a scientific and cultural perspective and to establish contacts with people who work or have worked in various fields, such as public education, health, social and theater education, cultural management or science.

I therefore set out to find a suitable person, someone who is warm and human and combines a sense of the big picture with a feeling for commitment to the common good.
