LU can learn GbR
With the LU can learn project, supported by the Jugend.Hafen foundation, , we help school dropouts in Ludwigshafen and the region to catch up on their secondary school leaving certificate as part of the so-called "non-pupil examination". A team of volunteer learning guides organizes lessons and supports the young people on their way.
About LU can learn GbR
Target group(s)
The target group is young people aged 18 to 27 without a school-leaving certificate who we want to recruit as learners and prepare for their school-leaving certificate.
We are looking for volunteers on the Vostel platform who are willing to teach our students math, German, biology, social studies and/or geography. Lesson times are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the subjects are usually taught in double lessons.

Funding
We are largely financed by donations and grants. Learners pay 75 EURO per month for lessons. The tuition costs are more symbolic and are intended to create a commitment and ensure that the learners stick with it.
Objectives
To enable young people to obtain a secondary school leaving certificate if they have not achieved this in mainstream school and are no longer required to attend school.
Your support helps
young people in difficult life situations to regain stability, develop confidence in themselves and make their way step by step towards a professional future.
