Regionales Umwelt- und Naturschutzzentrum Bad Langensalza
Our Environmental Center is supported by the Bad Langensalza chapter of BUND. The Environmental Center includes a historic half-timbered building, a “Natur!Garten” with a café, and two city wall towers with a section of battlement. The Environmental Center offers education for sustainable development and carries out environmental and nature conservation projects.

Objectives
Our primary goal is to educate children and teenagers—as well as adults—about environmental protection and nature conservation, while also fostering a love of nature in them. In addition, we practice nature conservation by maintaining toad fences, organizing trash collection drives, tending to our Natur!Garten—which features a wide variety of biotopes right in the heart of our city—and engaging in many other volunteer activities.
