ADFC Wolfsburg

The Allgemeiner Deutscher Fahrrad-Club (ADFC) is Germany’s largest advocacy group for cyclists. As a nonprofit organization, we work nationwide—and, through our Wolfsburg chapter, also directly at the local level—to promote safe, comfortable, and practical cycling infrastructure for everyday use. We engage with policymakers and government officials, organize bike tours and campaigns, advise members on all things cycling, and bring cyclists’ perspectives to the decision-making table.

Objectives

The Allgemeiner Deutscher Fahrrad-Club (ADFC) is Germany’s largest advocacy group for cyclists. As a nonprofit organization, we work nationwide—and, through our Wolfsburg chapter, specifically at the local level—to promote safe, comfortable, and practical cycling infrastructure for everyday use. We engage with policymakers and government officials, organize bike tours and campaigns, advise members on all things cycling, and bring cyclists’ perspectives to the places where decisions are made.

The ADFC thrives on the volunteer efforts of its members. Whether it’s a few hours a month or a regular project—we appreciate any support. We’re looking for volunteers interested in getting involved on a variety of topics.
