I am a photographer and I photograph and interview women who have reached a turning point in their lives. A point where they didn't know what to do next, where they couldn't go on. But they made it. They have gone through different fates, different things and have both feet firmly on the ground. They have made their lives worth living again and want to be a role model for everyone who feels the same way. What gives you the most courage? - If you think about it, role models will quickly come to mind. People who have experienced similar things and have gone their own way. They were also once at a point where they thought they could go no further. The despair was too great, the hope simply gone and the heart so heavy. These strong women share their story. They share their courage, their fears, their strength and their hearts with you. People give people courage! When you see that someone else has made it, when you know their story, their fears and their strength, it is much easier to take courage yourself. That's why it's so important to share these stories.
