WE SUPPORT: ...the school in fulfilling its educational mission: Education takes place at school through teaching. The Förderverein can support this with both financial and practical resources. ...the teachers can contribute their good ideas for the school to the support association and help to realize them. In this way, they gain partners who support them in their work and want to improve the conditions at their workplace, the school. WE STRENGTHEN: ...the school's external position: The school needs the parents' commitment to this type of school. In cooperation with the Förderverein, it gains additional opportunities to develop the school's profile and communicate it to the public. ...parents can develop better contact with the school because they take responsibility themselves and do not have to feel like outsiders. ...parents are simply more aware of what is going on at the school. ...the pupils can actively contribute their own ideas and get something going at their school. ...in recent years, the Friends' Association has actively and financially supported our school in the realization of many projects, such as the purchase of many musical instruments, sports jerseys for the students of all grades or the annual orchestra trip to Rheinberg. WE SUPPORT: ...school life and the school community. The atmosphere at a school is determined by the interaction between pupils and teachers. The school should be experienced as a fear-free space, joint events support this intention (e.g. excursions, flea market, school's out party, sports events), which are supported and organized by the Förderverein. The support association also lends a helping hand at school festivals. ...the pupils can thus perceive the school more as their living space, where they and their needs are taken seriously. And this also increases their desire to learn.
