Our motto is to make children strong for life. At the Arche, children experience appreciation and trust - regardless of their social background. As a reliable point of contact, we are and will always be at their side. Our goals are a.) to promote potential, b.) to enable education and c.) to provide opportunities. Our work with children, young people and families comprises six basic building blocks: LEISURE - meaningful leisure activities FOOD - free meals LEARNING - effective educational support FRIENDS - sustainable relationship work HOLIDAYS - exciting vacation camps FAMILY - help and advice for parents. At Arche, we believe that every child brings something unique into the world. We support children in discovering their potential and make them strong for life! Promoting talent, enabling education, giving opportunities - that's what we stand for. We are committed: - AGAINST the material and emotional effects of child poverty, and - FOR more equal opportunities regardless of social and cultural background. The Arche opened in Cologne-Ehrenfeld in September 2011.
