beramí berufliche Integration e. V. has been committed to providing career advice, training and empowerment for people with migration and refugee experience since 1990. The multi-ethnic team consists of 40 employees from 13 nations who speak 15 languages; 60% of the team have migration experience. The services are designed to be resource-oriented and adapted to the requirements of the labor market. The work of the association is characterized by recognition and respect for other cultures and the appreciation of diversity.

The aims of the work include promoting equal opportunities for people with migration and refugee experience as well as their professional integration in line with their qualifications. beramí has extensive expertise in career advice, particularly in advice on the recognition of foreign professional qualifications, in the development of mentoring programs for various target groups and in the implementation of bridging measures for people with an academic degree obtained abroad, including in economics or law. In addition, beramí offers training courses on the topic of "Gender- and diversity-sensitive advice for people with migration and refugee experience" and contributes the association's expertise and experience as a participant in panel discussions and specialist conferences.
