München spricht

"München spricht" (Munich speaks) is still a very young voluntary initiative. We want to create a platform in Munich for an open culture of discussion and exchange - without polemics, agitation and intolerance.

To this end, we organise discussion events that provide space for social and political exchange.

We talk about personal, local and global issues that concern everyone. The whole thing takes place on a Sunday afternoon in a cosy living room atmosphere, accompanied by a supporting programme of music, art and culture.

The concept of "Your city speaks" exists in many German cities. The initiative was originally founded in Cologne. In the meantime, however, the concept is also being spread to Leipzig, Berlin, Bonn and Koblenz, for example.
