It was created in 2007 as part of One Square Kilometer of Education - a program of the Freudenberg Foundation. It has the technical and resource-related prerequisites to translate local potential into educational solutions. It operates within the framework of the Local Education Network (LBV), is the
contact for educational players in the Reuter and Danube neighborhoods, identifies the needs of the institutions and develops supporting measures, and is a link to politics and administration.
