Zeugen der Flucht e.V.
Zeugen der Flucht e.V. is an anti-racist educational initiative with locations in Freiburg and Dresden. True to the motto "talking to each other instead of talking about each other", the aim is to raise awareness of the perspectives of refugees and to encourage the exchange with school classes.
About Zeugen der Flucht e.V.
Target group(s)
The target groups of our educational work are primarily young people in educational institutions of all kinds who meet young refugees who have not lived in Germany for that long.
In principle, any person who is interested and is willing to identify with our values can participate in our association.
Founding year
Funding
The work of Zeugen der Flucht e.V. is financed by grants, donations and membership fees. We are a non-profit association, which is mainly organised on an honorary basis.
Objectives
Our goals are meetings between parts of the society that rarely exchange information in everyday life. We are interested in social cohesion in general, and in particular in ensuring refugees and young people take part in the public debate on migration policy, refugees and asylum. The aim is to enable refugees to actively participate as subjects in this social debate.
