The German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) is the civil protection and disaster control authority of the Federal Government, which is supported by more than 80,000 volunteers. With us, all helpers complete basic technical training in one of our 49 local branches and can specialise in different scenarios and areas of civil protection in order to be able to provide rapid assistance in emergencies.
