About the volunteering opportunity
An offer of the family center Die Brücke.
The family center Die Brücke has the task of supporting families in the education, upbringing and care of their children. "Die Brücke" offers families a place to meet and exchange ideas, information and advice in the neighborhood, where they can feel comfortable and find support. Parents, children and families take advantage of the wide range of open offers and courses - from baby massage courses and toddler groups to family breakfasts and sewing groups. Here they can get to know like-minded people, become active and help to shape and improve offers in the neighborhood. We strengthen relationships between generations and cultures through intergenerational and intercultural activities and promote civic engagement.

Your Tasks
Our family café is open every Tuesday and Thursday 3-6 pm for families from the neighborhood and offers delicious snacks and drinks as well as the opportunity to spend relaxed time with the children and get to know other neighbors.
We are looking for support for our sales counter to sell waffles/cakes and coffee to children and parents.

What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
- Age: at least 16 years
- Certificate of good conduct: extended certificate of good conduct required
- Health certificate: Yes
