About the volunteering opportunity
The garbage championship goes into the 2nd round!
On Saturday, September 21, as part of World Cleanup Day, we are once again calling on all Munich districts to rid our city of butts, crown caps, disposable cups and the like.
From Aubing to Fürstenried, from Moosach to Giesing, from Hadern to Riem - Munich's neighborhoods compete against each other - which team collects the most garbage and becomes Munich's next Cleanup Champion?
The jury decides on the basis of various criteria such as "Who fills the most 60-liter bags? Who makes the most curious find? Who finds the most butts?" There's not only a trophy to be won, but also 30x €10 vouchers for 3 unpacked stores in Munich and a guided walking cleanup!
All participating districts and the corresponding meeting points and times can be found on our website www.cleanup-munich.de/muellmeisterschaft. If an e-mail address is given, please let us know in advance that you are taking part, otherwise NO registration is necessary.
You can join your own neighborhood or the neighborhood of your choice!

Join us in making Munich a little cleaner and meet new like-minded people in the process.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
None - just come along and help us make Munich a little cleaner!
What to bring
Bring some gardening gloves, old bags etc. with you on the day. All teams also have a pair of bin tongs and gloves to borrow.
