About the volunteering opportunity

The Joblinge project is a Germany-wide initiative that makes it easier for young people with difficult starting conditions to enter the world of work. It is primarily aimed at teenagers and young adults who have difficulties gaining a foothold on the regular training market - whether due to low school-leaving qualifications, a lack of professional experience or personal hurdles.

The program combines practical support with career guidance, individual support and the opportunity to gain initial work experience. It is carried out in close cooperation with companies, public institutions and social partners.

the aim of the project is to give the young people a long-term perspective, make them fit for the training market and enable them to embark on a sustainable professional career.

Your Tasks

All participants receive personal, voluntary mentors as role models, motivators and confidants. Mentors are an important factor in not giving up during difficult phases. JOBLINGE is a non-profit organization that specializes in promoting the professional integration and future prospects of young people. The organization was founded in 2007 and aims to support teenagers and young adults between the ages of 17 and 27 who are in a professional transition phase and do not yet have a clear idea of their professional future.

We are looking for committed volunteers to take on the role of mentors and support our young people on their career path. If you are interested in accompanying young people in their professional orientation and development, we look forward to your support. As a mentor, you have the opportunity to provide valuable input, share professional experience and contribute to the positive development of young talent. Your support can make a significant difference in the lives of young people and help them to achieve their professional goals.
