About the volunteering opportunity
Can you imagine supporting refugees as they arrive in Germany? Then you've come to the right place!
We are looking for a volunteer for our shared accommodation in Schleußig who can help refugees to settle in Germany by providing short training sessions on a wide range of organizational and bureaucratic topics.
Your Tasks
You will give training courses on various topics in the seminar room in the shared accommodation. The focus is on topics relating to German bureaucracy and organization, such as making doctor's appointments, organizing or navigating with a cell phone or obtaining (bureaucratic) information. You can pick up on the topics of the residents and take up the topics yourself according to your talents or interests.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
You will need advanced German language skills for this volunteering opportunity. Empathy and enjoyment of working with people are also important for this role. An extended certificate of good conduct is also required. The costs for this will be covered.
