About the volunteering opportunity
Women from various countries, e.g. Afghanistan and Nigeria, live in accommodation for asylum seekers and refugees in Munich (Berg am Laim). There is currently a sewing workshop for the refugee women in this accommodation. The women are very happy to come. Some learn to sew and make small bags, for example, while others are already good at sewing and make clothes for their children.
Who would like to take over the management of this sewing workshop? We are looking for a successor. Trials possible from now, independent takeover from December 2024.

Where?
Diakonie München und Oberbayern - Innere Mission München e.V.
"Die Innere Mission" helps people with a migration background. Whether as first aid for refugees and asylum seekers or through useful offers for migrants already living in Munich with permanent residence. The employees of our social and migration services often know the challenges from their own experience. They know where to start in order to begin a new life in a foreign country.
