About the volunteering opportunity
Berlin Lingua Hub is a dynamic initiative dedicated to promoting German language learning and cultural exchange in Berlin. Our main goal is to support the integration of migrants by offering regular language cafés and cultural events where people from different backgrounds come together to practise German, learn about new cultures and make valuable friendships.
Your Tasks
Organization of events: Planning and implementation of our language cafés and cultural events.
Establishing and maintaining partnerships: Identifying potential partner organizations, establishing collaborations and maintaining existing partnerships.
Communication and coordination: Exchange and cooperation with partners, coordination of joint projects and activities.
Administrative support: Support with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of our programs.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
Language skills: At least B2 level in German (German as mother tongue is not a must). Very good level in English (at least C1 to get in contact with partnerships)
Organizational skills: Ability to plan and implement projects efficiently.
Strong communication skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Commitment: High motivation and willingness to invest 4-8 hours per week on a regular basis as agreed.
Ability to work in a team: Ability to work well in a team and promote a positive atmosphere.

Important notice
You will support the integration of migrants in Berlin by helping to organize our language cafés and building partnerships with other organizations. In doing so, you will promote language learning and cultural exchange, which contributes to a stronger and more inclusive community.
