About the volunteering opportunity
The Verein zur Förderung von Menschen mit Behinderungen Darmstadt e.V. offers various leisure activities for adults with disabilities. By accompanying our leisure activities, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the participation of people with disabilities in society, be it by accompanying them to the movies, baking and cooking together or on excursions and trips.
This activity is also suitable for students.
Your Tasks
Your tasks:
- accompanying people with different disabilities during leisure activities
- Conducting the activities with the group
- individual support for the participants during the activities
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
For this job we are looking for:
- an appreciative attitude towards people with disabilities
- driving license and willingness to drive a Sprinter bus
Time required

On weekends, during the day, at night
Approx. 3 hours/month
Important notice
You will receive:
- an active role with people with disabilities
- teamwork in a committed and competent volunteer team
- appropriate compensation of up to max. 3.000 per year (tax and social security contribution free)
- great experience that can be mentioned as voluntary work on your CV (we are happy to provide written proof)
