About the volunteering opportunity
Since 1993, thousands of kindergarten children, schoolchildren, company employees and many other people have been packing aid packages for people in need in south-eastern Europe in the run-up to Christmas and, since the coronavirus pandemic, also for people in need in Germany. Year after year, they send a signal of solidarity, charity and hope.
The parcels are given to economically disadvantaged families, school and kindergarten children, people with disabilities, in soup kitchens, old people's homes and children's homes by our volunteers in close cooperation with our local partners in the target countries. For many people, the parcels are a precious sign of hope - a sign that they are not forgotten in their time of need.
